Hello! My name is Mrs. Mandi Cirillo. I have been teaching elementary instrumental music in Danvers for over 20 years and I still get excited for every new year like it is my first! Whether this is your child's second year in the program, or if they are just starting out, this is sure to be a challenging and fun year!
My goal is to teach the children the joys of playing an instrument while instilling life lessons along the way. Your child will learn how to read music and produce a good sound on the instrument of their choice while learning responsibility and organization (coming prepared and on time to class) and teamwork (working with a group in which every individual is a valued member). As a teacher and mother of two children, ages 8 and 11, I am constantly reminded of and amazed by what children are capable of accomplishing. I hold my students to high standards while being realistic about their age and their other commitments. I guide my teaching by asking myself, "What is best for students?" and "How would I want my child treated?"
I am looking forward to the 2020-2021 year, welcoming back returning members and getting to know new members and their parents. If you ever have a question, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am at Great Oak School on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Smith School on Thursdays and Fridays. You can also reach me here on the contact page or email me directly: [email protected].
Thank you and I look forward to seeing you all soon!
