INSTRUMENT ASSEMBLY, DISASSEMBLY, AND DAILY MAINTAINANCE VIDEOS
Click your instrument below to access a link to a video of how to assemble, disassemble, and care for your instrument!
For more information, read the first few pages of your lesson book.
Flute
Clarinet (NOTE: Put the reed in your mouth to get it wet as you assemble the clarinet and put the reed on as the last step. Place the tip of the reed slightly lower than the tip of the mouthpiece instead of even as the video states. When cleaning your instrument, pull the swab through the whole instrument before disassembling to save time.)
Saxophone (NOTE: Put the reed in your mouth to get it wet as you assemble the saxophone and put the reed on as the last step. Place the tip of the reed slightly lower than the tip of the mouthpiece instead of even as the video states.)
Trumpet
Trombone (NOTE: You might have slide oil instead of a cream for lubricating your trombone slide as shown in the video. If this is the case, apply a few drops in the same location as shown. You do not need to spray it with water or spread it around with your fingers.)
